idiyappam rice powder (from store) - 1 cup
Toasted uncooked quinoa powdered - 1 cup
Hot boiled water 1-2 cups
Salt - 1 teaspoon (or add to ur taste)
Idiyappam maker (device that can make string noodles)
Idli maker (device used for steaming idli dough - regular sized idli)
Pour 1 cup of hot boiled water mixed with salt to the well mixed rice&quinoa powder - I use a mixing stainless steel mixing bowl. Mix well with a steel spatula. Add water 1/4 cup at a time until u can start to make a ball out of the dough.
Push a portion of the dough into ur idiyappam maker. Hold it on top of the idli plates. Press/turn the handle (depends on ur device type) it to make stringed noodles. Add grated coconut on top. Steam it for 7-8 minutes like you would for idlis.
