1 cup of Rava (Roast the rava to make sure raw smell goes away)
Chopped shredded carrots 1/4th cup
1 Thai green chili chopped
1 cube of ginger chopped
pinch of asefoetida
1.25 cups yogurt
pinch of baking soda (optional)
Salt - to taste (3/4 to 1 teaspoon)
Spluttered black mustard; urad dal, green chili, ginger, asefoetida, then added chopped carrots and Idli Rava.
Add approximately 1.25 cups thick yogurt (just enough to get batter consistency).
Add chopped cilantro leaves.
Add salt.
Rest the batter for 20 minutes.
Prepare the Idlies.
Poured idli batter (makes 12 idlis with this proportion)
Steam it in Instant Pot for 17 minutes from start to finish
(Takes about 9 minutes after steam builds up).

Keep the knob always in the steam venting position.
Quick release after 17 minutes, idli ready!

One day I was alone in my home so i thought of making Rava Idli. Since to make Idli it needs some work & I am not good in doing household chores. So I bought a ready made batter to bake Idli. The above process helped me a lot in cooking the delicious idli.
